Since we kicked off in November 2025, we've been working hard to transform traditional schools into "Living Labs" for systemic sustainability . As we head into April and May, our timeline is packed with exciting hands-on action Here is what our incredible students and teachers will be rolling out next: Starting in April 2026: Circular Economy Initiatives: We are officially launching our hands-on waste reduction programs! Partner schools will begin establishing Repair Cafés—where students learn to fix and repurpose electronics and clothing—as well as our Zero-Waste Cafeterias Real-World Simulation Exercises: Students and teachers will dive into role-playing simulations . By acting out real-world scenarios like climate policy debates and urban planning, students will sharpen their critical thinking and learn how to negotiate complex environmental solutions Coming in May 2026: Peer-Led Energy Audits: Students will take charge of their school's energy footprints! They will conduct energy audits to find inefficiencies in heating, lighting, and water usage, and work with local experts to implement real energy-saving measures Peer-to-Peer Mentorship: We will begin developing our Peer Learning-Based Manual, a structured program where older students will step up to mentor and guide younger peers in sustainability leadership and advocacy Our students aren't just learning about the future—they are actively building it!
